Minniko Zassou the Weed
Minniko Zassou is a small weed grow in the corner. It is the only minniko that possesses positive mood. Neko waters Zassou every day so it becomes a very close friend of it.
How to crochet Minniko Zassou the Weed?
Materials:
Acrylic Yarn:
Green
Lace Yarn:
Black (for eyes and mouth)
Crochet Hook:
I used 4/0 here but any hook that fit your yarn would do
Yarn Needle:
for sewing the parts together
Abbreviations (US terms):
- sl st - slip stitch
- ch(s) - chain(s)
- sc - single crochet
- st - stitch
- sc inc - 2 single crochet in 1 stitch
- dc - double crochet
- tc - treble crochet
Minniko Zassou Amigurumi Pattern Instructions
Minniko Zassou Body Crochet Pattern
In Green yarn, begin with ch4.
In the following rows, start with a sl st and close the round with sl st.
Round 1:
Work around the ch, sc in the first 3 st, 3sc in next st, sc in the next 2 st, 2sc in next st. (10st)
Round 2:
Sc inc in the first st, sc in next 2 st, 3 sc inc in next st, sc in next 2 st, 2 sc inc in next st. (16st)
Round 3:
sc inc in the first st, sc in next 4 st, sc inc in next st, sc in next 2 st, sc inc in next st, sc in next 4 st, sc inc in next st. (16st)
Round 4:
*dc in the first st, ch 1 and sl st in next st*. Repeat * once. Ch 2, tdc, ch 2 and sl st in next st. Repeat * twice. Sl st in next 2 st. Repeat * twice. Ch 2, tc, ch 2 and sl st in next st. Repeat * twice. Sl st in next 2 st.
Fasten off and your crochet piece should look like Figure A. Leave a really long tail for sewing before you cut off the yarn.
Then, fold it up from the bottom as shown in Figure B. Sew along the edge until the gap is closed.
The body of Minniko Zassou the Weed is formed.
Minniko Zassou Hands Crochet Pattern:
As Minniko Zassou's hand is really tiny, it is extremely simple:
Start with ch2, on the second ch from the hook, make one sc, sl st in the same st.
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing onto the body.
Make 2 in total. Then, sew it on around the second row of the body with 3st gap.

Eyes:
In black, embroidery the shape of eye on the 4 row with 3 st gap.
Mouth:
In black, embroidery the shape of mouth on 1 row below the eyes.
